How to Create a Job in Video Interview (Legacy Mode)

This guide explains how to create a job in the legacy Asynchronous Video Interview (VI) version. Follow the steps below to configure your job, add questions, set response rules, and prepare your interview for candidates.


Step 1: Select the Correct Interview Mode

Before creating a job, ensure that you are using the legacy mode.

  1. Go to Profile (top-right corner).

  2. Click Settings.

  3. Select Interview Mode.

  4. Choose Asynchronous Video Interview.


Step 2: Create a New Job

Click Create New Job to begin the setup. You will be taken through several configuration stages.


Step-by-Step Breakdown

1. Job Details

Complete the following fields:

  • Job Title (mandatory)

  • Job Category (optional)

  • Welcome Message

  • Team (optional – select which users should have access to this job)

  • Language (translates the platform interface only; it does not translate your written questions)

Additional Fields (Optional)
You can request up to three items from candidates before they begin answering video questions:

  • Skills

  • Experience

  • Additional Candidate Information fields

  • CV/Resume Upload (the only mandatory item)

If the candidate’s CV was pre-uploaded through the invitation, they will not be asked to upload it again.


2. Create Interview Questions

You may create up to ten questions. There are two methods to build your question set:

Using Templates:
Choose a pre-built template to automatically populate questions.

Writing Questions Manually:
Add the following:

  • Question Title

  • Question Details

You can optionally enhance your question with:

  • Uploaded files

  • YouTube, Vimeo, or Dropbox links

  • A recorded video created directly within the dashboard


3. Configure Video Response Settings

For each video question, set the candidate response parameters:

  • Thinking Time: Unlimited to 4 minutes

  • Recording Time: 30 seconds to 10 minutes

  • Number of Takes: 1 to 5 options


4. Select Answer Type (Optional)

Instead of video, each question may use an alternative response format:

Written Response:

  • Option to set a character limit

  • Option to set a time limit

Single Choice:

  • Up to six options

Multiple Choice:

  • Up to six options

  • Candidate may select more than one answer


5. Smart Shortlisting (Optional)

Available only for plans that include Radancy Intelligence.

You can:

  • Select keywords and qualities

  • Arrange them in priority order (Top Priority to Lower Priority)

The AI highlights personality and behavioral indicators based on candidate responses.


6. Qualification Scorecard (For Magic AI Users)

If Magic AI is enabled, you can build an AI-driven qualification scorecard by:

  1. Adding qualifications

  2. Assigning importance levels:

    • Nice to Have

    • Important

    • Must Have

The AI automatically scores candidates based on these defined criteria.


7. Branding Your Interview

You may customize the candidate experience by adding:

  • Welcome video

  • Thank you message

  • Thank you video

  • Brand name

  • Company logo

  • Brand colors

  • Background image

You can also Save as Default Branding for future jobs.

Important:
Only clients with Multi-Branding enabled can change the company name and logo per job. If this feature is not active on your plan, these fields will be locked.


8. Save and Continue

Click Save & Continue to finalize the job.
After saving, the confirmation page will allow you to:

  • Invite candidates

  • Preview the interview
